How do I buy tickets for this event?

I bought a ticket and now I can't find it/can't print it, what do I do?
FOR TICKET HOLDERS ONLY: If you already have tickets and are in need of customer service regarding your ticket purchase, please call 1-877-772-5425.

Is there an age limit to get into the show?
No one under the age of 21 will be allowed entrance in the festival! This includes designated drivers who must also be at least 21 years of age. NO children, toddlers, infants, strollers, or pets are permitted. No one will be admitted without a valid photo ID (no exceptions). Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.

Where is Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum located?
1255 Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale, NY 11553

Is The Event Indoor or Outdoor?
The event will be held indoors at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. An outdoor fenced in area has been designated for smokers. There is no smoking permitted in the coliseum.

What does admission include?
You will pay one fee to get in. You will receive a souvenir six oz. tasting glass with a two ounce pour line. You are welcome to sample any beer that the brewers have.

Will Food be Available for Purchase?
Nassau Coliseum will have food for purchase. Food does not come with the price of admission.

What is the admission charge for Designated Drivers?
Designated Drivers will be charged $10 dollars per ticket.

How does the Designated Driver ticket work?
The designated driver ticket works the following way. The designated driver pays $10 to get in. The designated driver does NOT receive a wristband and they do not receive a tasting glass. They are able to enjoy all the activities of the expo except they are not allowed to drink any beer. Any designated driver who is seen drinking will be escorted out immediately.

If I buy one ticket am I allowed to go to both sessions?
A ticket can only be used for the session you selected when you purchased your ticket.

I have a ticket for Session 1, can I use it to go to Session 2 instead?
NO. You are only permitted to use the ticket for the session you purchased. The scanners are programmed with the ticket number and will reject your ticket. If you need to switch sessions and tickets are still available, you can do so up to 24hrs in advance by calling 1-877-722-5425.

Are there going to be any bus trips to the International Great Beer Expo?

Is there public transporation directly to Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum?
NO. There is no train stop for the Nassau Coliseum; you will need to take a bus or a taxi to the venue from any station. Nassau Coliseum in located near 2 LIRR train stations: Westbury and Hempstead

Trains:

Westbury Station: Taxis are located at the train station. There is no direct bus service available to Nassau Coliseum from the Westbury train station.

Hempstead Station: Walk one (1) block to the Hempstead Bus Terminal. Take either the N70, N71, or N72, which will drop you off on Hempstead Turnpike opposite the Nassau Coliseum.

Is there a coat check?
YES. There will be a place for you to check your coat. A small fee will be charged by the event charity who will be running this area.

What if I have problems buying/printing my tickets online?
Please call 1-877-772-5425 for help.

Are children or pets permitted to attend?
For your own safety, NO children, toddlers, infants, strollers or pets are permitted and admission tickets for the caregiver will not be honored.

Is smoking permitted at the festival?
Smoking will not be permitted in the coliseum. A designated smoking area will be created.

Is the event wheel chair accessible?
Yes.

Festival Rules

  • 21+ Only. Must show valid photo I.D. for admission.
  • Don’t drink and drive! Take mass transit or designate a driver.
  • Promotional photos and video will be taken at the event and you grant permission for your likeness to be used.
  • Drink responsibly, Know your limits!
  • This is a sampling event, 2oz. pours only!
  • All attendees must be properly attired.
  • We reserve the right to check all bags
  • No pets or children allowed.
  • No outside glassware or food permitted.
  • You get one souvenir glass for this event. Replacements $5.00 ea.
  • We reserve the right, at our discretion, to remove any individual(s) from the festival for behaving inappropriately, You will be escorted out by security and not allowed back in!
  • All exits are final. No alcohol permitted outside the event.
