Volunteers are needed for setting up the event, processing festival attendees, assisting brewers & exhibitors, handing out glasses, distributing beer to the breweries, delivering ice and in some cases clean up. Volunteer duties will be assigned at the festival at the "Volunteer Registration Desk". All volunteers must be 21+.

All Friday volunteers receive:

• Admission to one session on Saturday for FREE beer sampling.

All Saturday volunteers receive:

• A Free Event T-Shirt!
• A Complimentary Meal Voucher.

A meal voucher will be given at the end of the 9:00am–2:00pm and the 11:00am to 6:00pm shifts and half way through the 4:00pm-10:00pm shift.

Volunteers must be 21 years or older to attend this event. Valid Photo I.D. is required at the door. No exceptions!

CLOSED Friday Shift on Friday, January 24th, runs from 10:00am – 3:00pm, volunteer will be admitted to one session on Saturday for FREE beer sampling. Working this shift requires the volunteer to do some heavy lifting and unloading of delivery trucks. It is recommended for the "strongest" volunteers.

Saturday Shifts:

CLOSEDShift #1 runs from 9:00AM to 2:00PM and at the end of their shift, volunteers will be invited to stay and enjoy the first session for FREE beer sampling.

Shift #2 runs from 11:00AM to 6:00PM and volunteers will be invited to stay and enjoy the the second session for FREE beer sampling.

Shift #3 runs from 4:00PM to 10:00PM. Volunteer’s who work the entire 3rd shift will receive one free ticket to the 2014 International Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands. This ticket will be presented to you at the end of your shift when you check out. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Street Team:

We need to spread the word about the International Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands and need volunteers who are able to distribute promotional cards and posters about the festival in new neighborhoods. If you sign up to be a “Street Team” volunteer we will send you materials to distribute around your community – your local bars, restaurants, beer distributors, etc. (anywhere that people will see them). There is no time requirement and distribution activities can be completed whenever and wherever is convenient to you. However, “Street Team” volunteers can earn rewards for their efforts based on the number of locations materials are distributed at.
