Volunteers are needed for setting up the event, directing people inside the festival, handing out glasses, delivering ice, and clean up. Volunteer duties will be assigned at the festival at the "Volunteer Registration Desk". All volunteers must be 21+.
All Friday volunteers recieve:
• Complimentary admission to one session on Saturday.
All Saturday volunteers receive:
• A Free Event T-Shirt!
• A Complimentary Meal Voucher.
A meal voucher will be given at the end of the 9:00am–2:00pm and the 11:00am to 6:00pm shifts and half way through the 4:00pm-10:00pm shift.
Volunteers must be 21 years or older to attend this event. Valid Photo I.D. is required at the door. No exceptions!
Friday Shift (Feb. 5th) runs from 10:00am – 3:00pm, volunteer will be admitted to one session of the expo on Saturday. Working this shift requires the volunteer to do some heavy lifting and unloading of delivery trucks. It is recommended for the "strongest" volunteers.
Shift #1 runs from 9:00AM to 2:00PM and at the end of their shift, volunteers will be invited to stay and enjoy the first session of the expo.
Shift #2 runs from 11:00AM to 6:00PM and volunteers will be invited to stay and enjoy the the second session of the expo.
Shift #3 runs from 4:00PM to 10:00PM. Volunteer’s who work the entire 3rd shift will receive one free ticket to one of our upcoming shows of your choice. At the end of your shift upon checkout, you will fill out a form with your info so we can send out your tickets. If you do not check out at the end of your shift, you ticket will be forfeited.
We need to spread the word about the International Great Beer Expo at the Meadowlands and need volunteers who are able to distribute promotional cards and posters about the festival in new neighborhoods. If you sign up to be a “Street Team” volunteer we will send you materials to distribute around your community – your local bars, restaurants, beer distributors, etc. (anywhere that people will see them). There is no time requirement and distribution activities can be completed whenever and wherever is convenient to you. Once you send back the list of locations with contacts, we will mail you a ticket to the Great Beer Expo: Meadowlands. You choose the session!
